In this phase, trainees are given small ‘learning’ portfolios. They stream quotes in a select number of issues, as they learn to apply their theory and trading skills in an electronic environment. Under the guidance of a mentor, trainees react real time to changes in the marketplace and make decisions with live capital. Through ongoing conversations about risk management and opportunity, trainees forge the skills and mindset of successful traders.
