The Risk Management Group focuses its efforts on overseeing the trading of 6,000+ positions. Through various analytical applications, we continually stress test the complexities of both individual positions and the firm’s overall portfolio. The Risk Group is always in communication with the trading staff to evaluate the real time trading environment. Combining thorough analysis with monitoring real time trading, we are able to ensure the Firm’s risk is commensurate to overall volatility and liquidity levels in the marketplace. The Risk Group works hand in hand with all functional areas of Group One, greatly expanding the number of employees that actually assist in risk management. The Risk Group’s focus is not limited to analysis of trading statistics, it extends to all aspects of trading including system performance evaluation and trading software development.
